About the officers
Marin Plut (She/Her) - President
Marin established NHS at Hale in 2019 and has been working hard to keep it going since then. Outside of school, she started a sustainability consulting business with her sister and loves dancing.
Fun Fact: Marin does 5 different styles of dance
Zoe Kackman - Vice President
Zoe enjoys spending time with her friends and family, some of her hobbies include going thrift shopping, listening to a lot of music, and creating art.
Fun Fact: Zoe has done martial arts for 7 years
Anna Luters (She/Her) - Secretary
Anna loves travel, photography, and listening to music. She also enjoys spending time with friends and working with others.
Fun Fact: Anna likes going to concerts, she has seen Conan Gray, Harry styles and Billie Eillish
Toma Handelman (He/Him) - Treasurer
Toma enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and baking in his free time. He has been coaching and refing soccer for 5 years. Toma also speaks Japanese and has travelled to Japan 14 times.
Fun Fact: Toma liked to collect erasers as a kid
Jessica Tran (She/Her) - Affiliation
Jessica likes to draw and paint in her free time. She does gymnastics and is the captain of the NHHS girls gymnastics team. She also enjoys game night with her family.
Fun Fact: Jessica is allergic to cucumbers and oranges
Elke Thursten (She/Her)- Public Relations
Elke likes the outdoors, playing volleyball, and skiing. She also volunteers at the food bank in her free time. Elke also enjoys making arts and crafts.
Fun Fact: Elke eats watermelon rinds
Hannah Higgins (She/Her) - Officer at Large
Hannah likes to play lacrosse, to cook, and run cross country. She enjoys volunteering at the food bank in her free time.
Fun Fact: Hannah has a collection of over 100 pressed four leaf clovers
